Do staff need a separate device to clock in?
No. Staff clock in and out on the same Postree terminal they use to take orders. There is no separate clock, fob, or app to buy. If you prefer, you can also dedicate a low-cost tablet at the staff entrance purely for clocking.
How do you stop staff clocking in for each other?
Every team member has a personal PIN, and you can require a photo to be captured at clock in. You can also restrict clock-ins to specific devices or locations, so shifts can only be started on approved terminals in your venue.
What happens to clock-ins if the internet goes down?
Clocking keeps working offline, just like the rest of Postree. All clock-in and clock-out times are stored locally and sync automatically to the cloud once your connection is restored, so no hours are ever lost.
Can I export hours to my payroll provider?
Yes. Once you approve a week of timesheets, you can export the hours to CSV for your payroll provider or accountant. Break and overtime rules are already applied, so the figures are ready to use with no manual tallying.
